Keep mashed potatoes hot for get-togethers by placing them in a slow cooker on“keep warm” setting.

2 cups cubed potatoes
1 cup chopped onions
2 cups water
3 chicken bouillon cubes
1/8 teaspoon white pepper
2 Tablespoons parsley
2/3 cup milk
Put all ingredients in a covered pan and boil for 15 minutes or until tender. Remove from the heat and add 2 Tablespoons butter (do not drain). Put in a blender ( add in batches) and add 1/8 teaspoon white pepper, 2 Tablespoons parsley, and 2/3 cup milk. Run on high for 30 seconds.
Garnish with chopped chives and lemon.
Serve Hot or Cold
